♥ training!!!!
Quote of the day~ If you don't like your job you don't strike. You just go in every day and do it really half-assed. That's the American way. ~Homer Simpson, The Simpsons
Wow.... Quite a lot to blog, but no idea where to start.... :p
Hmm.... Let's start from the more recent events.... Was under going training this week. Coz Last week went down to HR and got my comfirmation letter, I should been feeling happy but, well never mention about pay rise. :( Such a disappointmet, was telling Fang and gals that I have nothing to look forward to. Atlest before I got the confirmation letter, there is still this hope of oay rise. But now, NO. Haiz... Ok now my slightest possible hope, let's wait and see what's the amount reflecting in my pay check next month. Told the HR staff that I haven't been to any training, and he was shocked. -_- Anyway, he arranged one for me with the training center. Haha... funny thing is, he asked me whether I did mention to my boss about me not been through training, and my ans?? "eh... I think they are busy so..... ya.... " Sort of join in half way, but better then nothing.
Gosh.... Finally my boiler suit is put in good use. Wasn't around my desk, but I still can't escape, coz emails has been coming in, and I have got other stuff to do although I hand over my main job to my colleague while I am under training. What to do? Everything just comes to me.
It's definitely a bad timing for training, coz this period, it's freaking HOT!!! Was attached to Operation, practically under the hot sun everyday, I am so tanned now. Really can keep fit in this rate, coz walking from one end to another end under the HOT sun, is really tiring. They were miles apart! Going from one dock to another.. phew... Sweating all the way. I would have been dehydatred, luckily I carried a bottle of water. Although it's quite tough and torturing, but I still quite like it.
It's rather ironic, coz I am feel that it's kinda fun, but at the same time dangerous. Well, depends on how you view it. Needless to say, it's an good experience. I like the part when I go down to the dry docking area, although it's really wet everywhere and muddy? actually muddy is not the right word but, well, it's hard to describe. Ok, the smell is not nice either, but it's kinda cool :p got to look at the bottom of the vessel. As i was walking under it, i was thinking, if it gonna fall on me, I will be gone. haha.... mixed feeling huh? Yeah, that's what I felt. Want to see, but scare... "heng fan jian" :p Anyway, overall feeling is good :)
Went onborad the vessel, well it's good training man... Climbing up the temporary stairway to the vessel is erm... tiring, really can slim down. It's around 6 or 7 storey high, and when going in the various parts of the vessel (those like engine and boiler room) it's damn HOT, it's the same feeling of sauna. So you can imagine me wearing that thick and long boiler suit and with all the PPE(safety belt/rope) and helmet on, it's damn hot. Was sweating like nobody elses business.
Boy! it's Damn tiring. When I was back in office after the training, I wanted to slp!!! The activites were so tiring that i practically sit infront of my PC and stone. Gotta brew myself a cup of coffee to keep myself awake so as to do my work.
It was a tiring week, I didn't get to sleep enough. -_- Coz after work I have got tuition and other stuff only get to sleep at 11 plus. OK I gotta go catch some sleep now. ciaoz....
